My ability to preside as your wedding officiant arises from TN Public Chap. No. 255 of the 112 Gen. Assembly. The language allows notary publics to perform civil marriages. I am a commissioned notary public. My Commission Expires 03/01/2028. There are no additional provisions regulating how Notaries perform marriages, aside from rules required of all officiants.
