Note: Vital records (birth, death, marriage/divorce ), court documents, company registration records, and FBI background checks—CANNOT be notarized by a notary public. Submitting a notarized document will lead to rejection. There is one exception for vital records from New Hampshire and must be notarized before sending for apostille.
This would be indicated by the number of Notarial Certificates appearing within the document that follow any signatures to be affixed later, in the presence of the Notary. Please be exact, as your session could be postponed while additional payment for non-disclosed notarizations occurs.

If requesting Online Notarization in connection with acquiring an Apostille, IT IS THE CLIENT'S SOLE RESPONSIBILTY TO ASCERTAIN IF THE DESTINATION COUNTRY ACCEPTS ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES WITH THE SAME AUTHENTICITY AS AN INK SIGNATURE. That being said, more countries accepting digital signatures is growing. Services are provided at an agreed upon fee and agreed upon location, prior to booking over the Internet and Phone. Services are confirmed upon receipt of a retainer fee of $25 + any Rush fee, if selected. At Artsa, your time is respected and valued. There is a commitment to delivering efficient and reliable online and in-person services. To ensure seamless operations and accommodate all clientele, the following cancellation and refund policy is implemented. A $25 retainer is required to secure your Apostille/Authentication estimate of fees. This retainer will be applied toward the total cost of your service. Once payment is made your consultation will be underway. Cancellations Cancellation Notification Artsa’s Apostille Agent will generally get right to work on compiling your estimate within minutes of submitting your survey and payment of your consultation fee. If you decide within 30 minutes of your survey submission not to use our services, Artsa allows for a full refund of the retainer. Any progress made will not be shared. Cancellation: If you cancel your apostille consult within at least 30 minutes (no exceptions) from survey-submission, the consultation fee will be eligible for a refund. 2. Service Unavailability: If Artsa’s Apostille Agent is unable to fulfill agent-services, due to unforeseen circumstances or an issue at Artsa’s end, a full refund, excluding the paid consultation fee, together with any fees already paid to third parties and agencies, will be issued. Refund Request To request a refund, please email artsanotary@outlook.com within 3 days of the original payment. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method, though processing times may vary depending upon our mutual financial institutions. Please allow sufficient time for the refund to be reflected in your payment account.
