CNTDA SERVICES FOR Individuals & Families (DIY)
THE HONEST TRUTH
What Happens Without a Properly Executed Plan
Without a Will or Trust: The state decides who gets your assets. Your family goes through probate court — 6 to 24 months, $10,000–$50,000+ from your estate.
Without Power of Attorney: Your spouse may not access bank accounts during incapacity. A court must appoint someone to make decisions for you.
Without a Healthcare Directive: Strangers make life-or-death decisions. Your values don’t guide your end-of-life care.
THE EXCUSES WE TELL OURSELVES
What Are You Actually Waiting For?
❌ “I’m too young.”
Death doesn’t check your age. If you’re over 18 with anything to protect, you need these documents.
❌ “It’s too expensive.”
Dying without a plan is what’s expensive. Probate costs $10,000–$50,000+. ARTSA execution costs $200–$275.
❌ “I’ll do it when I have more time.”
You will never have enough time. That’s why most people die without estate plans. Schedule 30 minutes this week.
✓ “It’s too complicated.”
This one is valid — and ARTSA can help. You don’t need a law degree or minimum net worth. Just pick a path.
