What type of ID will you present to the notary?

If this is a General Notary document, in some cases the expiration date must be within the last five (5) years. If a notarization relates to a real estate transaction, the ID must be valid and unexpired.

This is indicated by the number of Notarial Certificates appearing that follows any signatures to be affixed later, in the presence of the Notary. Please be exact, as your session could be postponed while additional payment for non-disclosed notarizations occurs.

ARTSA can provide online witnesses as an add-on service under the RON category. A TN Notary cannot play a dual role and also act as a witness.
